The Tennis Desk

The Tennis Desk is the morning-after page for USTA NorCal league tennis. It answers questions about the teams and players it covers from their recorded match results: a player’s Desk level and match history, a team’s roster and record, and the league table, each showing the matches behind it. No account. Scouting a whole opposing team needs the Desk Pass. When the results do not support an answer, the Desk says so rather than guessing.

What you can ask

• What is this player’s Desk level, and which matches produced it?
• How did our team do against a given opponent, and who played which line?
• Who is on an opposing team’s roster, and how strong is it?
• How has a player’s Desk level moved over the season, and which matches moved it?
• What does a player’s season look like across every league they played?

Coverage

Marin County and San Francisco, seasons 2022 through 2026: 46 clubs and about 3,600 active players a season. Data comes from published USTA NorCal league results.

Ask a question on this page, with no account. The Tennis Desk also runs as an MCP server, so you can attach it to Claude, ChatGPT or another client and ask from there using your own model.

A Desk level is The Tennis Desk’s estimate of how a player is playing now, on the NTRP scale to two decimals. It is not an NTRP rating and cannot be entered anywhere USTA-sanctioned. The Tennis Desk was called Tennis Rating Lookup until September 2026.
